Privacy policy

What we collect, what we don’t, and what stays inside your own network.

Last updated: October 2026

The short version

  • Product usage data stays on your file server. We do not receive it.
  • We never collect model, drawing or project content.
  • Payments are handled by our reseller; we never see your card details.
  • Licence checks send only the licence key, a one-way identifier of the computer and, when activating, the computer’s name — never project data.
  • The optional AI connector for phone and web checks your licence key and answers from Yugmir’s own guides. It never sees your models, drawings or files.

Who we are

Yugmir Technologies (“we”) provides Yugmir Software and related software. For privacy questions, contact support@yugmir.com.

Yugmir Technologies LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in India — LLPIN ADB-8757, GSTIN 07AAEFY1210G1ZK. Registered office: E-49/5, First Floor, Okhla Industrial Area Phase-II, Okhla Industrial Estate, New Delhi 110020, India.

Data we process

Licence activation

When the software activates, checks or releases a licence, it sends the licence key, an identifier derived from the computer (a one-way hash that cannot be turned back into the computer’s own ID) and, when activating, the computer’s name to our licence service at licence.yugmir.com. The service checks the key with our licensing provider, Lemon Squeezy, and returns an answer that is kept on that computer and names the licence and order it belongs to. This is used to enforce seat limits, to stop one licence being used on unlimited computers, and to trace copies made from a licence.

The licence service keeps which computer identifier each activation belongs to and a count of attempts to use an activation from another computer. It keeps no log of requests. It carries no project information, and runs on Cloudflare’s network on our behalf.

Update notice

On computers that are not connected to a firm’s shared tool library, the software reads a small version file from yugmir.com once a day, to tell the user when an update is available. Nothing about the user is sent beyond an ordinary web request, and an organisation can switch this off.

The AI connector (optional)

If you connect an AI app such as Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini to the Yugmir AI connector at mcp.yugmir.com, so you can ask about Yugmir on your phone or on the web:

  • Signing in. You enter your Yugmir licence key on our sign-in page. We check it with Lemon Squeezy. The check does not activate the key or use one of your licence’s computers, and your key is not given to the AI app.
  • What we keep. To keep you signed in, a sign-in record for the AI app you connected: the app’s name and return address, and your licence key in encrypted form so the licence can be re-checked. A sign-in ends after 90 days without use, or after a year at most. The result of a licence check is kept for up to a day, so that a short outage at Lemon Squeezy does not interrupt you.
  • What your AI app sends us. The questions it asks Yugmir’s guides and templates, and any code you ask it to check. We use them only to answer at that moment; we do not store them or use them for anything else.
  • What it cannot do. It has no access to your computer, your Revit or AutoCAD models, drawings or files, and it cannot run or change anything. It runs on Cloudflare’s network on our behalf.
  • Your AI app. Your conversation with the AI app itself is handled by its provider under that provider’s own terms.
  • Stopping. Remove the connector in your AI app’s settings. To have your sign-in records deleted straight away, email support@yugmir.com. If your licence ends, the connector stops working within an hour.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record and handles payment and applicable taxes. They collect the billing details needed to complete the sale. We receive order and licence records, but not your full payment instrument details.

Product usage (telemetry)

Yugmir can record which tool was run, whether it succeeded, when, the Revit or AutoCAD version, and the Windows user who ran it. This is written to your organisation’s own file server and is not transmitted to us. It exists so your administrators can see adoption, reliability and time saved.

Collection is controlled at two levels:

  • Your organisation may set collection to optional, required, or disabled for everyone
  • Where the choice is left open, each user is asked once and may change it later
  • If your organisation disables collection, no user setting can re-enable it

Because this data resides on your infrastructure, your organisation is its controller. Retention and deletion are under your control.

Support correspondence

If you email us, we keep that correspondence and any diagnostic files you choose to send so we can help and refer back to the history.

This website

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and embeds no third-party analytics scripts. Our hosting provider processes standard server request data for delivery and security.

What we never collect

Model or drawing content, project names, file contents, or anything about the buildings you design. The software has no facility to send these to us.

Your rights

You may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to retain it. Write to support@yugmir.com.

For telemetry held on your employer’s servers, those requests go to your employer, because we have no access to it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for material changes, notify licence holders by email.
