What’s new in Yugmir Software

Every release, what changed, and whether it affects how you deploy.

How to update: download the latest installer from your Lemon Squeezy order and run it over the old version — your licence and settings stay. Step-by-step →

Version 1.0.0 Current

The first public release of Yugmir Software for Revit and AutoCAD, October 2026. Everything on this page is part of it.

New in this release

  • Signed by Yugmir Technologies LLP. The installers and every Yugmir program file carry our digital signature, so Windows names the verified publisher and you can confirm nothing was altered after release
  • Light and dark theme everywhere. Every window, list and drop-down follows Revit's and AutoCAD's own theme
  • Batch Runner upgrades your family library. Point it at a folder of older Revit families and each is upgraded and saved in the version you run. Details
  • Switch AI off for the whole firm. Besides limiting the assistant to reading only, IT can now turn the AI connection off entirely for everyone
  • Step-by-step guides to every button on the Yugmir Manage tab: Revit · AutoCAD

Added later in October 2026

  • Ask the AI anything about your open model or drawing. When no ready-made check answers it, the assistant builds a small tool for your question in your own sandbox and runs it only after you click Yes. A change it makes is a single Undo step, and you are told beforehand exactly what it will change. Revit and AutoCAD
  • Keep a good answer for the team. One request turns the assistant’s answer into an ordinary button that shows its result to whoever clicks it, ready to publish to Beta like any other tool
  • Upgrade readiness. Before the firm moves to a new Revit or AutoCAD version, one report shows which of its tools are ready, which need a rebuild and which need changes — and rebuilds the ones that can be. A Yugmir Manage button for administrators, or ask the assistant
  • Monthly ROI report. One page for a director or client: hours saved and their value, the change on the month before, how many people use the tools, the tools that saved the most, and the return on the licences

Support: licence holders get a reply from us within one working day (Monday to Friday, India time) at support@yugmir.com.

Added in September 2026

Part of version 1.0.0 of both products. Nothing here changes how an existing deployment works; each feature is there when you want it.

New in both products

  • Batch Runner. Health checks and exports across a whole folder of models or drawings — run now, or schedule it nightly or on chosen weekdays, with an HTML and CSV report e-mailed to you. Details
  • Import Tools. Bring a pyRevit extension into Revit, or a folder of AutoLISP routines into AutoCAD, as a ready-made panel. Details
  • AI live link. The AI assistant can read the model or drawing you have open, run checks and reports, and run tools or make changes only after you click Yes. Firms can set it to On, ReadOnly or Off by policy. Details
  • The AI assistant builds and publishes. It can create a tool project, build it, read its logs, draw its icon and publish it to Beta — 57 assistant tools in all
  • A tool library without a VPN. The master drive can be a SharePoint library synced by OneDrive, or a read-only web library that every computer mirrors and checks file by file. Details
  • Check Master Drive for administrators: sets up a new master drive, and finds and fixes layout problems on an existing one
  • New Tool Project and Tool Guide buttons for everyone

Safer releases

  • Promotion adds and updates tools and never removes one; retiring a tool is a separate, deliberate step that can be rolled back
  • Request Production. Each tool-maker asks for their own tested tools to go to everyone, and sees the answer. An admin approves or rejects each request on its own, so one person's finished tool never waits for, or drags along, someone else's
  • Publishing warns before replacing a tool that a colleague put in Beta
  • Teams. A firm with several teams gives each its own tabs, tool-makers and leaders. Teams use each other’s released tools from the Tool Store, but only a team’s own leaders approve, retire or undo its tools
  • Undo one tool. Put a single tool back as it was before its last release, leaving every other tool as it is
  • Test before you approve. With one click an approver switches their own ribbon to the Beta tools, tries what was asked for, and switches back. A request can be approved only once they confirm they tested it and say how — and the tool-maker sees that note with the answer
  • Your tool stays with you until it is approved. Publishing copies a tool to Beta and keeps it in the tool-maker’s own sandbox, so a rejected tool is still there to fix. Once approved, it is filed away by itself
  • Beta testers. Name a few trusted people who use the Beta tools every day, to try new tools in real work before everyone else
  • When Beta is empty, publishing first fills it from Production, so the next promotion does not drop anything

Yugmir for Revit 1.0.0

The foundation of Yugmir for Revit.

Tools included

  • 59 ready-made buttons across 17 panels — drafting, sheets and views, revisions, DWG import, point clouds, walls and more. See the panels
  • Family Library with previews stored in the library, and a copy of each family for every Revit version

Deployment and control

  • Channels. Assign users to Production or Beta and publish to each independently
  • Promotion and rollback. Promoting snapshots the previous state first, so rollback is a single action
  • Optional two-person approval before anything reaches Production, with self-approval refused
  • Revocation. Withdraw a tool centrally; it greys out everywhere with your reason attached
  • Role-based access by Windows user or Active Directory group

Reliability

  • Crash isolation. A failing tool is caught, reported plainly, and benched after repeated failures
  • Safe Mode. Hold Shift while Revit starts to load core only and reset quarantined tools
  • Mid-session sync that skips files currently in use rather than failing, and applies them on the next start
  • Offline-first licensing with a grace window, so a dropped connection doesn’t lock anyone out

Visibility

  • Fleet and ROI reporting — hours saved from successful runs, success rate, crashes by tool, adoption and Revit-version spread, exportable to CSV
  • Tamper-evident audit log of every governance action
  • Per-user telemetry written to your own file server, with firm-level and per-user consent controls

Compatibility

  • Revit 2019 through 2027
  • Two Revit versions running side by side during a migration year
  • Everything installs locally — no runtime dependency on our infrastructure

Yugmir for AutoCAD 1.0.0

The foundation of Yugmir for AutoCAD.

  • One installer for AutoCAD, Advance Steel, Civil 3D and Plant 3D, releases 2021 through 2027
  • Per-application publishing. A tool appears only in the products it is published to
  • AutoLISP as a first-class tool type, alongside C# and VB.NET, with companion files found without a support path
  • Every button is a typed command, ready for acad.pgp aliases and scripts
  • The same governance as Revit — roles, channels, rollback, approvals, revocation, audit trail, crash isolation and Safe Mode
  • One activation covers Yugmir for AutoCAD and Yugmir for Revit
  • 20 ready-made buttons across 8 panels, plus an alignment panel. See the panels

Upgrading or evaluating? The governance page covers how each control behaves.
